T7Design Inline Thermostat Housing with Thermostat Bypass Circuit

The T7Design Inline Thermostat has been engineered to offer OEM levels of temperature control for applications where the traditional thermostat cannot be used or you are using an electronic water pump such as a Pierburg CWA400. Our housing has been designed with a dual plunger thermostat to allow for adequate flow through the block when the thermostat is closed, this ensures there will be minimal temperature variation across the block and head. The thermostat also includes two ORB10 ports for additional circuits such as cabin heater, oil/water heat exchanger or turbo cooler.

Features:

• Fully 3D CNC machined from billet aluminium and hard anodised for a superior finish.
• 40mm Diameter Primary Valve for high-flow and low pressure loss.
• Secondary Valve for thermostat bypass, will fully block flow at maximum thermostat temp; 78c for low temp, 88c for standard temp version.
• 2x ORB20 connections for main radiator hose in/out, with a variety of adapters available to suit common Metric, Imperial and AN/JIC sizes.
• ORB12 connection for the thermostat bypass circuit, with a variety of adapters available to suit common Metric, Imperial and AN/JIC sizes.
• 2x ORB10 connections available for secondary fluid return circuits, primary uses would be Cabin Heater, Oil/Water Cooler or Turbo Cooler.
• Thermostat is clockable internally to ensure Jiggle Pin is situated at the highest point to allow for correct function of air bleed through the thermostat.
• **Thermostat option 78c: Begins opening at 78c, and is fully open at 88c with the thermostat bypass fully blocked off at this point. With this thermostat you would typically see your engine operating around the 82-85c range with light load. This would be recommended for daily driven or street cars.
• **Thermostat option 68c: Begins opening at 68c, and is fully open at 78c with the thermostat bypass fully blocked off at this point. With this thermostat you would typically see your engine operating around the 72-75c range with light load, and in the 80's at full thermal load. This would be recommended for high horsepower race cars. Please note that you may have to run a larger radiator as the Delta T temperature difference between air and coolant is now lower.
