BW founded its own Motorsports Division in 2014, and we have been doing in-house research & development for our racing products ever since. The valuable experience, data, and feedback we gather through our direct participation in motorsports and direct applications of our products are passed on to our manufacturing engineers – informing the design of our crankshafts and connecting rods. BW has been developing and manufacturing billet crankshafts over 20 years. From material selections to final products delivery, BW take every step professionally.
Billet Lightweight crankshafts are designed for motorsport applications where ultimate performance is required. Reducing the weight of the crankshaft increases the engines response time. combining a lightweight crankshaft with other lightweight engine components will improve performance.
Specifically shaped counterweights reduces engine windage for more efficient and effective motion.
