Adhesive Heatshrink sleeving is commonly used for insulating and protecting wires, cables, and other components from environmental factors like moisture, dust, and abrasion. The tubing has an additional adhesive lining on the inside. This adhesive melts when heated, helping to create a tight, secure bond between the sleeving and the surface it covers.
