These Genuine Honda Final Drive Kits are a common upgrade to the EP3 and DC5 where the 4.7 Final Drive is originally fitted. This ensures you maintian the quality and reassurance of a Genuine Honda product.
The advantages of a 5.33 Final Drive over a 4.7 is that the overall gear ratios are shortened, meaning faster acceleration. The torque applied to the wheels is greater than the 4.7 Final Drive. the downside is that the top speed is reduced and at cruising speeds the rpm will be higher at the same speed.
These final drive kits are suited to those using their vehicle for spirited driving, track days, circuit racing or rallying yet keeping the standard helical gear meaning no additional noise in comparison to Semi Helical or Straight cut gears.
