CO2 Laser Cutting & Engraving
T7Design offer in-house CO2 Laser Cutting & Engraving services using high-end, professional Trotec machinery. Our machine is primarily used in-house for engraving our Anodised Aluminium Heater panels and cutting and engraving various parts, such as Switch Panels from Plastic. Our Trotec is a speedy, accurate machine which is great for bulk production, we offer this service to our customers.
Although regular CO2 laser cutters will not cut metals, they are particularly well suited to engraving anodised, coated and powder coated metals. Our CO2 Trotec machine is especially well suited to cutting and engraving a wide range of materials such as woods, plastics, leather, paper and card. They will also mark coated metals with the use of a ceramic marking compound which is brushed or sprayed onto the surface of the material prior to marking. The laser machine burns this ceramic compound into the surface of the material and the excess compound is simply washed away.
