Carbon Starter Heat Shield
This carbon starter heat shield uses real carbon fiber as the raw material. It is used to protect starters from potential failure caused by under hood heat soak conditions. Use the heat shield to cover the starter and fasten with the built-in hook-and-loop fasteners. It can also easily be installed and removed for shows.
The express heat shield sleeve is non-flammable, offers great short-term flame protection, has excellent thermal insulation properties and is perfect for automotive applications to protect against heat soak for fuel lines, wiring looms, air intakes, intercooler piping and air conditioning hoses.
Always order a slightly larger diameter for your intended application to allow for ease of installation and to give enough clearance for bends.

- The Carbon Starter Heat Shield is designed to reflect radiant heat and not designed to be in direct contact with the heat source. If the barrier is in very close proximity or direct contact to the source, then please look at our non-adhesive heat protection products.
